Experience SUP

At Experience SUP we love stand up paddleboarding. It is a unique experience that offers the paddler freedom, a workout, and calm. We believe that there is so much to discover with SUP!

On the same note, the Snoqualmie Valley is a beautiful place to live. There is so much more to it than even its residents notice.

Follow Experience SUP on InstagramTwitterPinterest and Facebook for some Northwest vibes, inspiration, and SUPography.

The Snoqualmie Valley

"The Valley" is a major character in what Experience SUP is and does; it's the region bordering the Snoqualmie River including North Bend, Snoqualmie, Fall City, Carnation, Duvall, and Preston.

Experience SUP runs the majority of it's lessons on the Snoqualmie River from North Bend to the confluence of the Snoqualmie River and the Skykomish River,

Our popular summer lessons gave paddlers the chance to learn how to safely navigate a paddleboard in a class 1 river. The lower Snoqualmie River’s gentle summer current and idyllic setting makes for a perfect SUP training ground.

Meet Your Guide

Shane Donogh is the owner and Lead Guide of Experience SUP.

Shane Donogh is a long-time Snoqualmie Valley resident and founder of Experience SUP. Growing up in the valley Shane's parents instilled an appreciation and love for the outdoors and staying active while having fun with family. He first paddle boarded as a kid while living on a boat in Central and South America. The warm climate, bright blue water and sun is great, but as a true, Northwest native you'll find Shane out on the wa
ter rain or shine (or snow). He has been on the river with his board almost every day at lunch, even escaping on weekends and evenings to get in a paddle for the past two years. Shane is a husband and dad of two boys. You'll see his sons Kelly and Wyatt out with him exploring our valley just as his dad did with him.

Apart from paddle boarding Shane is a Seahawks fan, loves gardening, rides his dual sport to and from work (rain or shine), and has won bagels from the Tom & Kurly show on Kiro for his office a number of times.

Certifications: SUP Instructor, White Water Raft Guide, First Aid & CPR
